Natural Acne Skin Care Tips

Another easy way to greatly increase your skin’s health is to change your sheets as frequently as possible, and if you have face acne—changing your pillow case as frequently as possible will help substantially. Acne Skin Tip #3: Take Your Vitamins!

Let’s face it; vitamins are imperative not only to overall health, but also your skin’s health. Just as make up or skin care products boast they’re vitamin-XYZ enriched, why not go one step further and nourish your body from the inside out. A diet consisting of vitamin and mineral-dense foods is an extremely important factor in your skins health. If you’ve been fighting acne and don’t already take a multi-vitamin, try one out—the results may surprise you. Many studies have shown vitamins A, B5, C, D, and E not only to be beneficial, but absolutely essential in the preservation and formation of healthy skin. If you’re unsure of which vitamin to take, consult your physician or pharmacist. Also, be sure to get the most bang for your buck and help your skin out by drinking lots of water while you swallow down this acne tip!

Acne Tip #4: Your Skin is What You Eat?

While this headline may not be 100% accurate, it is very important to reduce your intake of poorer quality and processed foods to combat and help prevent acne. A balanced and healthy diet consisting of daily servings of fruits and vegetables is essential to maintain adequate levels of vitamins and minerals, especially if you’re not taking a multi-vitamin. Just as you would fill your gas tank with fuel before taking a long road trip—it’s crucial to start your journey towards clear skin with a diet rich in nutrients, giving your body the proper fuel it needs. In addition, drink lots of water and steer clear of drinks with high sugar content such as soda and fruit drinks. Overall, it’s best to simply pay attention to your own body, and make any adjustments to your daily eating habits as you discover them. Others may have found success reducing their acne skin by not eating apples, but you may be able to eat them by the dozen. You need to listen to your body and find what works and doesn’t work for you!
